The 2024 Kia Sorento has been revamped, featuring a new exterior design, enhanced interior, and a special X-Pro off-road trim. Set to hit U.S. dealers soon, this mid-size SUV showcases noticeable front and rear updates, including new headlights, a reshaped grille, and modern taillights, complemented by fresh wheel designs and two new color options.

Inside, the Sorento steps up with a larger infotainment screen and updated software, offering more connectivity, including over-the-air updates. All models come with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, while higher trims boast a digital gauge cluster of the same size.

The X-Pro trim level is a major addition, focusing on off-road capabilities with 17-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, alongside the existing X-Line’s roof rack and skid plates. However, the X-Pro is exclusive to the top-tier SX-P trim.

Powertrain options remain unchanged, with the base model featuring a 191-hp 2.5-liter engine and an optional 281-hp turbocharged version for higher trims. Both engines are available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

The 2025 Sorento will bring hybrid versions with the same upgrades as the 2024 gas models, including a plug-in hybrid with an improved electric range. Details on these models and the pricing for the 2024 Sorento are yet to be revealed, but an increase from the current price range is anticipated.
